Finish Warranty - Internal Use
When used internally, Ashley Norton Inc. extends warranties as indicated below to the original residential purchaser and limited to the location where the product was originally installed. The finish warranty does not cover scratches, abuse, mis-use, accident, external use, or where the product has been used in a commercial application.
Our Dark Oil Rubbed (8/DOR) patina is a ‘living finish’ and may lighten, highlight, oxidize or rub off in places due to frequency of use; therefore, such events do not constitute a defect. Our Polished Nickel (4B/PNI) and Unlacquered Brass (3U) finishes are not lacquered and may tarnish due to environmental exposure. Thus Ashley Norton Inc., cannot guarantee our Dark Oil Rubbed (8/DOR), Polished Nickel (4B/PNI) or Unlacquered Brass (3U) finishes and therefore, Ashley Norton Inc. will not have any obligation to repair or replace such finishes under this warranty.
